I have two Apple laptops and love them both. My older one has lasted like 6 years and is still in great condition, I'd be lost without them. There's just no hassle.

You alsooo get a good student discount & a free iPod which can be resold for profit! (you pay for it up front and get a rebate, I gave mine to my dad who ended up trading it up for a better iPod and only paid like $80 for a super nice 60 gig iPod video)
