Sponsorship

How are you guys encouraging people to sponsor you? I am having a hard time. By this time last year I have over four hundred dollars. Right now I have $80.

I only have $10. I can't sponsor anyone, which was how I was able to get people the previous year.

I only have a few sponsors so far, myself. A few LJ friends, a couple RL friends, and a couple sponsorship exchanges with people on the blogathon forums. I intend to contact both my charity and a number of blogs related to the cause I'm supporting to see if I can get sponsors that way.

I know a fair number of people do incentives for sponsorship -- giving things to sponsors (or the highest sponsor) or auctioning things off for sponsorships, things like that.
