That's right -- as the subject says, Blogathon starts in less than 48 hours! Are you excited? Have a plan for what to talk about (or a plan to wing it)? Been getting support or are you struggling to find sponsors

This is my first year. I'm blogging under aquablogathon09 for the CCFA, or the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, which is dedicated to spreading awareness of these diseases along with increasing research and helping patients get care. It's... oddly similar to the Celiac cause, another set of autoimmune diseases that primarily attack the digestive system, although in particular with Crohn's it can also cause symptoms similar to rheumatoid arthritis or eye problems. (I think the two sets of diseases are also misdiagnosed for each other fairly often, eh heh

Yes! I'd forgotten that (whoops), but yes, that was part of my plan as well. :) Plus, I'll admit, I tend to bake out of packages rather than from scratch, so I'll have product recs, too.
My name is Josie. :D This is my third year doing Blogathon~ It'll also be my third different charity, I've supported a different one each year.
This year I'm blogging for a UK children's cancer charity called CLIC Sargent, a charity who provide specialist care for sick children, with a particular emphasis on social care and family support, as well as support for those who have been bereaved. Of extra interest to me is that they have just opened a house in Nottingham, where I live, near the hospital for families to stay during treatment so they don't have to make long journeys back and forth

This is my first year blogging, and I'm going to be blogging for Living Hope Ministries. They're a non-profit Christian-based organization that provides counseling to couples of any kind who are struggling with their relationship. All their services are free (counseling, resources, guest appearances) despite the fact they run on donations.
As for my blog's theme, I'm a big fan of Japanese and Asian culture in general so I'll be talking about that for the entire 24 hours.
This is also my first year writing for the blogathon. I will be supporting RAINN, the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network at my blog, this queen you think you own. RAINN is an amazing organization, and I hope to help them continue to assist men, women and families in crisis.
My big plan is to write about thinks I like. I plan to take each post and talk about something I like to do, eat or watch. I hope to get a dialogue going. Otherwise, I think I will be winging a lot of it.
A portion of my blogging will be given up to guest bloggers. Since I have to work that afternoon, these lovely authors will be posting in my stead, and they have free reign on what to write about. It will be fun.
