We don't have CAPTCHAs here on Livejournal of course, so that's not an issue. For those of you nervous about allowing anonymous commenting, see the FAQ here for details on how to set comment screening. The normal argument against comment screening - that it delays the appearance of comments for third parties - doesn't really apply during the Blogathon, since you'll probably be at or near your computer to check submitted comments. At least once every half an hour, in any case!

We actually do have CAPTCHAs. It's that think that asks you to enter letters to make sure you're a human.

Good catch. You can turn off CAPTCHAs in the privacy tab of your account settings.

Oops. I guess I never see CATCHAs because I always browse Lj whilst logged in. Which anonymous commenters by definition can't do...
