I wanted to ask you a question. I'm looking into different midrashot for next year and I wanted to ask you whether you went to midrasha and which if you did and whether you could possibly give me any advice. I figuered your sisters also went to different midrashot and you probably have friends who did too, so maybe you would know more about different places. If you have time to explain about whichever different midrashot you know about, sometime, it would help me out.
Thankyou!

P.S. I can't wait to see the play! We were meant to come and see it on Thursday, but Pam got stuck in America (because of the strikes) so we delayed it and are coming at Hannakah. I'm really excited! :)

I heard about the strikes. It's good that you're coming on Chanukah because I think the cast will be extra energetic, and anyway it's always fun to watch a show on a festival. I can't wait for you guys to come!! Who exactly is supposed to come ( ... )

I know that my mom and I and Pam and Orly are coming. I think we are bringing someone else too, but I don't know who...
Its funny, because when I looked at the website that gives you information about all the midrashot Tal Orot was on my 'look into it' list. I'm not specifically 'into learning a lot of Gemara' but I can't see myself at a midrasha that doesn't encourage you to (or at least apreciate that you want to)learn Gemara at all.
I'm already signed up for Bruria and have been there a few times. I like what I've seen of it so far, but I feel like I need something to compare it to and that I should look into other places as well.
Can you tell me what is different or unique about Tal Orot? Also, do they encourage/support/accept girls doing army service? (I'm thinking about doing the morot chayalot thing with the tarbut toranit, or possibly modi'in if I go to Bruria).
Thankyou so much!

I think it's more common in Bruria to go to the army than Tal Orot. Everyone in my year did or was going to do sherut leumi. I'm sure they'd accept girls who wanted to do army service, although to be completely honest, I don't think they'd go out of their way to encourage it. What I liked about Tal Orot was that it was an intimate group of like 20 girls, all of good personal quality and intelligence. The kind of people you can learn a lot from, benosaf to the high-level teachers & rabbis and the interesting classes. About Gmara: In my year the girls weren't particularly into learning a lot of dapei gmara, but had there been someone like that, she's would've been given a lot of space and encouragement.
The campus itself is very calm and beautiful, so that was great for me too.
It's worth it for you to go check it out, to get a better idea than my description.

- Which day on Chanukah are you coming?

See ya!
