Magic went off to doggie heaven this evening. We will miss her, but her life just wasn't very joyful like a dog's life should be anymore, so I think its for the best.

One of the Australian riders who finished 2nd in the Tour last year and this year apparently has a temper. I'm sure its annoying to deal with reporters stuffing their microphones in your face all the time, but come on! if they didn't test so heavily for doping i might suggest he's got a bad case of 'roid rage ( Read more... ) -
grandma update
surgery went really well today, Gram was back in her room in 3 hours, and by 4 hours post surgery she was awake, alert, and marveling at the wonders of science that she was pain free (even if it was anesthesia-induced). i'm going to visit with her a little in the morning, they said they'll have her up and moving about tomorrow, get her started on ( Read more... ) -
what is it with my grandmas falling this month?
A few weeks ago, my Grandma B (dad's mom) fell out of bed. after several weeks of car trips and pain, she finally got a bone scan this week and turns out she has a hairline fracture. so she needs to rest so it can heal ( Read more... )
