I don't know why, but I feel like this is the start of everything that'll be good. I know it won't solve all of my problems, but I know that some of them will be better, and I can't wait. I'm so excited, and I feel happier than I have been in awhile. I feel like I'm finally in control of my life again!

So much has gone on. I had a very happy birthday (thanks to those who wished me well :), Left for break and came back- cruises, especially to the Bahamas, are fantastic. Seriously. I haven't posted in almost 6 months. I'm not sure why. Some of it was because there were situations in my life I couldn't - and still won't- talk about over live journal. So...haven't written in about a month. Too much has gone on since then, things that have been awesome and fun to things that were sad and scary. It has been a long month.

This joke I heard today for some reason made everything make sense, all at once:

"If you called a dog's leg a tail, how many tails would a dog have?"
"Five."
"No, only one tail: Calling a leg a tail doesn't make it one!"

...huh. I have no idea why I feel so enlightened, but I do...
