Houston, We Have A Budget!
Our 2007 budget was approved by the SEC this morning. That means that (if I am around to see it) our increases will be payable at the right time, and no need for retro pay!
This is the first time our budget has been approved before the end of the calendar year.
A lot of good and hard work from all involved!
So, good news on a Monday.... -
Veterans Day
While officially, Veterans Day is not till tomorrow, it is observed today, and I would like to take this moment to solemnly remember those who have died for our country, and those who have served and/or still serve our country today in our armed forces.
Thank you for all you have done to defend our great nation!

A Notable Anniversary, of sorts....
It was just brought to my attention that today is the 31st anniversary of The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. This ship, immortalized in song by Gordon Lightfoot, went down on Lake Superior in 1975, on November the 10th, during a sudden and surprise storm, with all 29 hands lost in the wreck ( Read more... )
