I'll be in F'ton Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon this weekend... would like to see some friends I didn't get to at Christmas, and do some gaming / vegging. Anybody up for a game of Settlers or Carcassonne Sunday morning / afternoon? Or maybe a matinee...

Interesting! Some non-profit group of devs has gone and remade Ultima V using the Dungeon Seige engine... I know little about either, but it sounds cool:

I've been thinking lately about getting a game console. The last one I owned was a ColecoVision, in the early eighties. I've always been more of a PC gamer, but lately have had less of an inclination to spend a couple thousand bucks every other year to buy what has essentially become for me an expensive gaming / email machine. I broke my only pair of glasses on Sunday, and have been walking around more or less blind ever since. The new pair I ordered might be ready by Friday, but perhaps not until early next week.
