Father's Day and Comic Movies

Well I'm at my parents' house for father day. Saw Batman Begins for the second time yesterday, this time with my Mom (Carrie, Chad and I saw it at the first showing on the IMAX. That is so the way to see that movie. The Batmobile sounds like an angry beast with that sound system). Batman Begins is a very good reason why one would want to write

well, it was an original thought to those of us who have no clue about comics.

So then I can rip off all the comic stories I want and just change around enough of the facts so I don't get sued? :-)

Don't get me wrong, I think the movie was fine, I just don't understand how it was good enough to warrant hundreds of millions of dollars. The Fantastic Four will always be the first family of superheroes.
