I all big about language (which will surely make Carrie laugh when she reads this), because I feel Language affects people's perspective. So there for I will no longer refer to MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying) as such. Let's say I play WoW. Let's say my main character is an Orc Warrior.

If I make a conscious choice to kill every living thing I see (including little bouncing bunnies and those stupid rats, which I cannot skin, btw), does that make it role-playing?

Well playing an Orc Warrior that kills things is in character, but in a very simplistic way (but then you don't get much more in D&D sometimes). But then in Magic you're playing the role of a Wizard casting spells to defeat your rival, so that's "in character" as well ( ... )

i dunno, i RP on ffxi. I'm a Mithra (cat woman) and i purr and make >^.^< faces and play on males' feeling of half dressed hot computer babes to get what i want. does that count?
