Well I leave for the West on Saturday. I'm terrified and excited and nauseous all rolled into one. I have plans to visit various friends spread across the country. We had a goodbye date tonight. It was lovely, fun, as we usually had together. And yet it all still feels right and I'm off to new things.

And then he gave me a knife that matched the one I'd lost. A beginning and ending. How lovely.

I just ended my longest relationship ever. While it was probably the most stable relationship I've ever been part of, it was also probably the shallowest. So it isn't tearing me apart like the last one did. You know, I think that might have been the only one that really shredded me. Well I'm settled in my new abode. I'll be working 3 days a week at the jewelry gallery and 3 days a week at a fancy bread store. We'll see if this is too much work and not enough free time or what. Another... and final trip to see the boy. He took me to the art museum and we reveled around for a bit before heading into southern Appalachia. There we camped out on one of his friend's family's land... over 500 acres of mountains.
