It's been a looooooooong time! But I had to write something after the events of "The Retribution" and how Val McDermid left Tony and Carol.

The case file is weak, I know; I was only using it as a vehicle to get to the Tony/Carol bits. :p

Well, it was pretty much the reason I wrote the fanfic! I was so disappointed by the events in the book that I needed to write something that would help me pretend things might turn out okay.
