Robert and the Love Ride 2010
I've volunteered this year to help raise money for actor Robert Patrick in the annual Love Ride. In the upcoming week or so, I will have a couple of auctions for autographed items he's donated, but right now, I've already started collecting money through t-shirts I'm making.

I spent the entire day in the air-conditioned comfort of the library. (I'm not kidding- I mean, like the ENTIRE day, from 2pm to 9pm.) I read the most amazing book called, "History on Trial" by Deborah E. Lipstadt, which is an account of her defense against David Irving*, who sued her in a British court for libel. lightening the load
So the purge continues. Can't remember if I posted this a month ago, and I'm too lazy (and hot to check), but I got rid of over 20 DVDs and 30 CDs from my collection. Got rid of my ancient air conditioner today (yeah, on the hottest day of the year) for $50, and went through all my old photos. Got rid of, no lie, at least 200 photos. I mean, ( Read more... ) -

How can it be that a show with absolutely no merit can be so addictive? It's like those marshmallow bananas; even when my stomach says stop eating them, my brain is totally hooked on the sugar. Thus is my addiction to Hell's Kitchen.
