But he criticizes Obama for lack of experience, and then chooses someone who was major of Wasilla and governor for two years. I just don't get it.

But I like how they say he "tapped" her...ahahaha. I think that's really what it's all about. Trophy wife. Trophy Veep.

I can't wait to see what comes out of the trooper firing investigation. It'll be disastrous for the republicans if she's impeached!

I wonder if Minnesotans are bitter because their governor wasn't selected? Honestly, if this is the demise of his campaign, I'm MORE THAN HAPPY with this choice.

Oh god, I am SO SICK of EVERYTIME they mention Pawlenty on the news they go "Governor Pawlenty is considered one of the leading candidates to be John McCain's vice presidential nominee".

But now for the next 6 months whenever they mention him on the radio they'll go "Governor Pawlenty was considered to be one of the leading candidates to be John McCain's vice presidential candidates before that Palin chick was selected."

Actually, if he had chosen Pawlenty, he'd probably have lost Minnesota (he probably will anyway. I hope).

She was elected governor in 2006. She was previously the mayor of Wasilla, this town up in the valley near Anchorage (population like 8,000). Oh, and formerly, she was a beauty queen! I just have to throw that in there, because when I think of beauty queens turned politicians, I think of that chick last year who answered that question about maps and Iraq and all that ( ... )
