the sity has decided to upgrade oxford to a 5 lane road, which means they must expand somewhere. So instead of just using the ditch on the other side of the road, they decided to use half the ditch and half of the front lawns. So today we said good bye to our drive way. At some point this week we say good bye to the bottom half of the lawn and I assume in a few months everything will be put back right.

well, for a bit in went into the church's parking lot. (they are right behind us, and our gate leads onto it), but now it's back in the half drive way that ends in clay.

oh dear....i saw that actually. drove down oxford today and thought how sad it was for all of you oxford people losing your lawns and driveways. eek. sorry!
