What do you want to know about the Tube and the tickets? Have you seen the London Underground website? It has Tube maps you can download, which show where the tickets are valid. If there's anything you don't understand about the maps, ask me or Minto, we can explain it. If you are going to be staying near the British Museum, you'll be in Zone One, your nearest stations are Holborn, Tottenham Court Road, Russell Square and Goodge St. Not all lines are working normally at present, there's up to date information on the site, and at stations. I think you can forget about the Circle Line for the rest of the summer, and some of the other lines have sections that are not working

I have been checking out the tube site, and I tink you're right. Travelling on it alone as a first timer is the stupiest thing I could do. I can see myself still on it days later, curled up in a ball. (and I am laughing as I write that(
I've triple checked, but I don't think I can buy that pass online. But I can buy it at the airport, I assume. After 9:30, oh yes. Especially the first morning (the 28th) after a flight from Paris.
I land at Heathrow, Terminal 1 at 16:35 and I can email you the flight number if you wish. BMIBaby will be interesting. I hope the leg room isn't as small as the fares.
In the next week or so I will put up my travel plans. Then hopefull everyone who wants to can arrange a meet-up.
Thanks for all your help. I hope everything is going well for you and Minto.
Hahaha...big long answer. you know how i would answer that... You walk up to the tube station you pay the nice lady some money, and you ride the tube about all day. You just can't lose your ticket stub thingy. cause otherwise you can't get back on.
