While my new job is over all more interesting than my old, and I will have more opportunities and such as time goes by, I am incredibly bored a lot of the time.  I don't know how to do a lot yet, so there isn't a lot to do.  The training has been going well though, I definitely have a better idea of what's going on.  And I like my benefits are ( Read more... )

I guess I'm not one for long entries anymore. But here's my thought of the moment. I was looking in the mirror and putting some lipstick on and I totally noticed how much I look like my Aunt Sarah. Apparently people aren't crazy when they said we look alike.

Two quick things.  One: New job, yay!  Two: The thing the guy on Grey's Anatomy had, totally the same thing I had summer after junior year.  I know it freaks Ashley out to think about it, but his was huge, like so much bigger than mine.  And it had teeth and shit like mine.  Apparently a teratoma is just another word for a dermoid cyst.  That guy ( Read more... )

So, as most of you probably know, Father Tony died last Friday.  My mother told me about it that afternoon, but I don't think it really hit me until today when I went to the Our Lady of Grace website.  They have a page up with his obituary and it plays "Here I Am Lord", and it just made me tear right up.  Regardless of what people may think of the ( Read more... )

I went to Merrimack yesterday to see the girls.  It was strange being there and knowing that they are going to be going to classes on Wednesday and I'm not.  As I was leaving Julia and Monique's room I actually said that I was going "back to my room."  I had to stop and correct myself, I have a house now.  It's just bizzare.  It made me realize ( Read more... )
