How I hate the special hell that purchasing running shoes is for me.
I am "blessed" with a particularly wide mid sole, especially for a girl. Shoes, and running shoes in particular don't do that in almost all cases. Moreover, because of my fallen arches and inserts I now have to wear, this gets tricky. Beautiful day outside!
Ok, so some of you may know that after much physical therapy I am now starting to run again. Yay! Also in October I acquired a bicycle that rescued me from the crazy that was my inability to run and be outside back then. So, I'm still biking and loving doing both now. New developments..
We've been a bit stressed over here for the last month or so, and not just because of the holidays. Hubby applied to a job that we hadn't gotten an answer from. He handed in his resignation for "the-place-of-evil" (for those in the know) and his last day there will be the last day of this year. Yay for beautiful weather, good runs outside, and friends!
My runs yesterday and today were just so pleasant with the beautiful weather outside! I'm so happy with the weather we've had. Lower humidity and slightly lower temperatures makes being out there something I really look forward to. I've also been really enjoying being able to run with one of my friends too.
