It's a good thing that a journal is typed/written instead of being spoken. Why? Because I'm having oatmeal for lunch (bleh) and I just burnt my tongue really bad on the spoon. If I were to have to talk, I'd be talking lik diz ( Read more... )

She actually loves it there. The only thing she doesn't like is being away from her family.

I haven't read any of them yet, because I want to start with the first book...which I was told by the guy that runs the used book store I go to....the first is hard to come by. They had like 3 copies of the 4th one though, lol

Probably hard to come by because everyone who buys it doesn't wanna give it up. lol The thing to remember tho, with Dark Tower, is that after awhile, all of Stephen King's other books started referencing it, and the Dark Tower books have references to other of his books. It's like giant web of connectedness. I dunno if you're a Peter Straub fan, but he and King wrote two books together, The Talisman and Black House, and they end up linking to the Dark Tower. Same with King's The Stand, Salem's Lot, Hearts in Atlantis, Everything's Eventual. So you have a lot to read. haha

Oh, I've read The Dark Tower. Let me know when you start so we can chat about it. ;)

The Prey series by Sandford does seem to skip around a bit. Rules of Prey is the first, and then I'm pretty sure Shadow Prey is the next one. Then... Eyes of Prey perhaps? All the ones I've read are pretty damn good though.

Good luck with your career. =)

I will let you know :)
Yeah, I read Rules of Prey, and then I was trying to figure out what the second one was. I somehow thought Eyes of Prey was next, so I skipped Shadow Prey. I hate when that happens, lol. Hmm I kinda wondered how much of a good cop Luke Davenport was in that Eyes of Prey though...I think he needs anger management :o)
I guess I'll pick up Shadow Prey and ...whatever the 4th one is sometime this weekend if I get a chance.

Thanks!

Chris! I will love ya forever now! Thanks so much - it was damn hard to figure out the order, lol. I looked in several of the books, where they list all the books he's wrote. Thought they'd be in order. Apparently its not that easy. :)
Yay, thank you! :)
