So, I have painted toe nails right now. Purple with a coating of glitter and then a clear coat on top of that. My niece usually paints them several times a summer. And in the summer I wear sandals. I was bored last week and saw that Glee was on Netflix so I figured I'd give it a try. I thought the first episode was pretty good so I kept going. After the football episode, I was completely hooked. I was cracking up laughing at the football team dancing and then crying when Kurt was talking to his dad at the end. The other night Mel and I went shopping at Target. At some point she decided that she wanted to sit in the cart and start singing to me. I got it on video in the parking lot afterwards. :)

Mel and I were outside this evening. I was grilling some hamburgers and she was playing. She had to go potty so we went inside for a bit. I saw that my neighbors were walking by but didn't think anything of it. Until we got back outside and I was taking the burgers off the grill and noticed two bites taken out of one of my buns. Mel is doing great. She's just a happy kid and a joy to be around. She potty trained a few months back and pretty much did it over the weekend with her mom. She went to her mom's in diapers/pull ups and came back in underwear. Since then she's had 2 "accidents" at school. Good movie, but man, it really made me think. It's just such a sad concept for a one year old's parents to die and leave her alone. Of course, I related the whole thing to Mel and I just couldn't bear the thought of her having the two most important people in her life taken away from her. I was dancing with Mel last night and taught her some moves. I ended up recording her. This will make more sense for anyone that has seen "Hitch".
