Author's Notes: You can very much blame Cee-chan for this threesome (I need to write them some smut some time) I believe this threesome came about from reading Cee's fic Reassurance and there kinda being some Kensei/Izuru... I wear my slash googles to much ne~! But at any rate this has been kicking around on my hard drive for about 3 weeks so enjoy!
The war had ended a long time ago and with it the stuffy order of things. Former captains had returned, unhindered by the fact they had the power of hollows to back them up.
Izuru could see how thrilled the brunette was to have Mugurama-taichou as his captain and the blonde was glad that Shuuhei could finally move on from Tousen, drawn into believing he could save him as he had been. Muguruma-taichou had seen to that too.
“Smile, kid. Ya alive aren’t ya?!”
“Otoribashi-taichou, you still have paperwork!” Izuru called to the back of his retreating captain.
“It’ll still be there in the morning.”
And some things never changed for Izuru.
“Oi Rose, quit stressing the poor kid!” a rough voice called from behind him. Rose just waved and popped his headphones in, disappearing around the corner. “He’s still causing ya trouble, huh?” Kensei’s large hand came down to rest on Izuru’s shoulder, giving it a light squeeze and making the blonde blush.
“Y-yeah…but I’m used to it.” he added with a sigh. “Wish I wasn’t though.” Izuru muttered as an afterthought. Kensei’s deep laugh rumbled from his chest. “Well I’d better go do taichou’s paperwork.”
“Oi, oi, if you always do it he’ll never learn. Come on.”
“Wah! Ah! Muguruma-taichou, what are you doing?!” the blonde protested as he was forcefully dragged away by his arm. That wicked grin was sent his way once more, it reminded him of Shuuhei’s determined grin, and he blushed again. “It’s Kensei now.” This only caused Izuru to blush more deeply.
“Now ain’t this much better than that damn paperwork?”
“Well of-of course but - ah Shuuhei!” the blonde squeaked in surprise. His only answer was a smirk as the brunette pulled back from kissing a sensitive spot on his neck. Kensei laughed again and they both felt it rumble through his muscled chest, as they were using it as a substitute pillow.
“Watching the stars is nicer.” Shuuhei murmured, seemingly mesmerized by the balls of gas far above them as the ninth captain’s fingers lightly brushed through his hair and over the mimicked tattoo on his cheek. Izuru had to agree; contrary to Otoribashi-taichou’s opinion, he did not enjoy paperwork.
“Ya thinking too hard again.” Kensei teased as Shuuhei smoothed his hand over Izuru’s forehead.
“Hmph~” he muttered at the both of them, turning his gaze to the stars above and letting out a contented sigh. “It’s a very pleasant evening.”
Shuuhei snorted. “You sound like you’re talking about the weather.” He pointed out, hiding another laugh.
“What if I was?” the blonde replied in an awfully bratty tone.
“Hey no arguing, or ya gonna loose ya pillow.” Kensei interrupted, before the teasing fight could escalate.
“Hai taichou~” the two younger shinigami chimed, causing the silver haired man to roll his eyes.
“At times like this it’s Kensei. Idiots, I oughta bash ya heads together.”
“Would you take care of us afterwards, Kensei?” Shuuhei whispered huskily against the older man’s ear. Wait, when had he even moved his head from the vaizard’s chest? Kensei chuckled and Izuru looked up in time to see the silver haired man pull the brunette to his lips, tongues sliding out immediately to engage each other in a struggle for dominance, one that the older shinigami always won. The blonde’s mouth went dry at the sight and before he realised it a soft moan had escaped him. Two identical smirks turned on him and Izuru knew he would shortly be fucked.
