last week i read a commentary letter to the editor in the Lowell Sun about how PETA doesn't give people choices and are pretty much nazi's when it comes to wearing fur. The man said that people who didnt agree with PETA"S views were tormented by PETA members and that PETA wouldnt accept anyone's choices but their own... for a moment I thought to ( Read more... )

dude, let me know about all of this. i'm seriously trying to get more and more involved with things such as this (hence why i've been asking a million questions about where you find all this stuff you always post about) and i come to you because i know you would be the one to talk to about it. so let me know.

also.. that article on the PETA website made me want to throw up. i read it to Todd too, and he was disgusted as well.

ps- I would also like to get involved with something of the sort, but not PETA because they contradict/don't work with other feminist views, which at this point I think are more immediatly important. What about something like GreenPeace, which considers animal and environmental issues.

(I'm not trying to proove a point or anything, I'm just interested.)

that's another thing i want to learn about.. feminist views and rights and such. again, i figured both of you are the ones to ask about these sorts of things.

yeah i know, it kinda sucks about that =(

yeah greenpeace all the way! i just get emails from PETA so.. yeah..whatever.
