Winter always seems to be the rough patch, this one has been no exception. This weekend people moved, tears were shed, fresh paint and new beginnings were applied. My mantras have been "everything happens for a reason" , "it will only get better from here ( Read more... )

The Gym is whatever you want it to be. Po' folk like us must improvise. My living room actually converts to a dandy gymnasium at the touch of a button - erm, rearranging of some furniture and banishment of some cats.

I do the "at home work-out" (i.e. crunches, lunges, weights etc.) but there's only so much I can do...unfortunately we have creaky old hardwood floors that don't support people jumping around and plus I'm sure Wratthew doesn't need to listen to that above his head.

Had you ever been forced to endure the sounds of his ex-upstairs neighbours engaging in the laziest, lamest, most pitiful sex in the history of doin' the nasty, you'd understand why I don't think the sound of aerobics would bother him very much :oP

As always.....we shall keep our fingers crossed, do our good juju dance and see how things go. But I'm optimistic without any side effects for once -and that's a nice thing.

I think those are fine mantras, my dear.
Regarding your lack of livingroom furniture, may the couch fairies visit you and bestow comfy goodness upon you.

Regarding gymtasticness, Erika goes to the U of T gym at Hart House (iirc) & it's pretty reasonable. I'm not sure if non syudents can go, but you may want to look into it. I went once as a guest & I was impressed.

Also, you are pretty damn wonderful & anyone who doesn't realise that can go eat a big bowl of poo.

I am wishing good things for you, as you are quite deserving of them.

If not the couch fairies at least the second-hand chair ones..they're less fickle.

I'm not sure if non-students are permitted but yes, definitely something to check out.

And thank you...you're Miss Damn Keen in my books too
