Things you learn when unemployed:
  • Maury Povich does  "YOU MAY NOT BE THE FATHER OF MY BABY" shows, 9 times out of 10
  • Retarded Grandpa CAN speak English and is a nosy s.o.b (e.g. looking into our windows when he thinks no one is home)
  • the mail deliver person comes around 2 p.m
  • days of the week don't really matter unless you are employed otherwise ( Read more... )

days of the week don't really matter unless you are employed otherwise each day is just "Mosunesurday"

"Funny thing 'bout weekends when you're unemployed. They don't seem to mean as much - 'cept that you get to hang out with your working friends."

Depending on who you get to work on your behlaf at Apple One then can lead you in to some good opportunites... I used them to get my foot in the door with quite a few good companies...

Bell Mobility was the main one, but they also do placements for, National Grocers, Bell Canada, ADP etc...

The key with them is to be professional but also buddy buddy....they remember those who they would think of as a friend and call them first with opportunities...

If you are thinking agencies Kelly Professional is a good one... also Pinstripe. Have heard good things about the both of them.

Good luck and good wishes to you always!

I've had so-so experiences with Kelly Services and have spoken with Pinstripe. My main goal is to get out of call centre work, for me it's something that I don't enjoy and makes getting up and going to work all the more difficult.

My Apple One rep and I seemed to hit it off, I always dress very norm/professional for interviews (even wore pink...hmmm?) and she seemed very excited about my resume and test scores so we'll see what happens from here.

Thanks for the luck, I can definitely need it right now:)

I've learned some similar things being unemployed. The mail for me comes at around noon, but oddly enough there may be new mail after 3 - does he come twice?
Pyjamas make great day-clothes. Creepy old man next door likes to venture onto the sidewalk in the afternoon.
That;s about it really. Other than day-time tv and growing to like watching the World Poker Tournament, it sucks not working.
A toast- to finding work!
