I finally escaped.

I've been prodded, poked, X-rayed, Scanned and injected. I've given more blood samples from more veins than I thought I ever had in my arms.

The reason for all this prodding and poking? I blame maltloaf! He had a stinking cold just before christmas and took great delight in coughing on me. I then stated coming down with his cold and ( Read more... )

Glad you're out and improving :)

If that's the stuff I remember from when I had J it was like them injecting you with boiling hot liquid - but I guess it's worth it lol.

Hmm. I had the lying-in-bed-shivering thing on Thursday evening last week, with two duvets and a sweatshirt. I managed to crawl into work on Friday and do some menial coding that didn't require much thinking.

On Friday night I slept for twelve hours and had strange dreams, after which I just felt slightly grotty with substantial expectoration. Although it didn't feel like it at the time, it sounds like I got off very lightly!

Hence my not coming to visit you again last week, as I hope joebunny explained? I doubt you'd have thanked me for putting you back to square one. :-p

I'm glad you're out of hospital and generally on the mend. Mine's a bread and chips (or naan and chapatti, or baked dough balls, or other ethnic equivalent) if you're asking. (-8

joebunny did explain - hopefully yours isn't the start of pneumonia.

It's a little concerning the number of people that have this big bug at the moment. That would be the last thing that I want right now.

I'm sure I can stretch to some bread, although I would recommend that you don't put it in your kitchen :-P

Woo! Yay!

Glad you're free. I hear you'll need lots and lots and lots of restage, so take your time.

Hugs and stuff.
