Inefficiency
I am filling in an overnight shift for a program I had never been to before, although I was familiar with the clients. The program manager asked me to do this and I agreed, provided that she would email me directions. She never did. I got the address from the list kept at my program. Evaluation
I graduated a year ago. I had decided to take an indefinite time off from academia, probably 5 years. That's because I was burned out, trying to support myself, and I had a lot of things to figure out.

Unfulfilled
Valentine's Day. Yes I spent some of it with Drew, but my parents came up this weekend to take us out to dinner, bring me my great-grandmother's dresser, and generally catch up.
As a result, I'm feeling tired, relieved, dispirited, encouraged, and full of delicious food.

I finally have a job. I'm not going to be late on rent! Btw, I'm already looking for another job. I don't think that's an uncommon reaction; when I showed up to my second day, my coworkers in my area gave me a small bit of applause. ~shrugs~ It's not so much that I don't like the job, but my body hates it. Life can sometimes really STINK
Day 4 of the Toilet Not Working. The landlord's son is over here now...he took the toilet completely out of the bathroom and is dealing with the pipe underneath. Water in the pipe is frozen we're not sure how far down. If the toilet had been working before the winter started, there wouldn't be still water in that pipe to begin with. Rage...curse...
I probably should go to the dean or at least the department chair about what's going on with one of my chemistry courses. The professor is going at least a little bit crazy and she's taking out her frustration on us.
