It seems absurd that people should marry at 18, 20, 25... even 28, looking at some people that age who basically act like kids. 30 perhaps, it seems about normal to me in today's Western societies {elsewhere it obviously is a different matter}. 32... and we're getting there, an age where I think people are finally old enough for this to work. Du weisst ja, was ich darueber denke... lol. Ich glaube, es KANN gutgehen, wenn die Leute die entsprechende Einstellung haben - aber bestimmt nicht mit 18-jaehrigen heutzutage.

Wahrhaftig! Und in den westlichen Laendern sind das eh nur die Prolls und die ganz Doofen, die so frueh heiraten. {Und dann auch gleich anfangen, die Kinder rauszupoppen - na toll)

I used to think I would be married by the time I was 26. I definently don't see that happening now. I believe 26 is to young and that I need to live as much as I can before I get married. I don't know what I was fretting about before? Just because our parents were married young doesn't mean that things have to be that way today. The times change and people change. I still have friends that are worried they won't ever get married and they are only 22 years old!! That's so young!

Exactly. 26 would have seemed like a good (and normal) age to me too when I was, say, 16. I really do think things have changed dramatically since, the world is just so different now. I can't believe people actually *worry* about this at 22! That's just crazy! LOL
