A girl I work with doesn't like the way I do my eyes. Well, it's not that she doesn't like it but she thinks it's too bright / bold to wear during the day and should only be worn at night (for going out clubbing or where ever). Wanna know something funny? She saw one of my purses yesterday and didn't know it was LV and thought it was really cute! lol

We all get into that nasty trap of worrying about what others think about us. But you can't let it influence you to the point it's changing your behaviour! That's just crazy talk. Do what's good for you, make yourself happy. If random people don't like it, who cares? They're not important anyway.

LV is stellar. That girl has no taste. :-P

thanks! It's funny because yesterday I was buying something and I went through her line and she was gushing over my purse and I told her it was LV and she didn't believe me she kept saying how cute it was, ha ha.

but yea, I know what you're saying is true and I'm not going to let her (or anyone else) stop me from wearing bright eyeshadow or carrying my purses. It does make me uncomfortable when I know she is probably looking at me and thinking my eyeshadow is crazy but I think I am getting closer to the point where I don't care.

It took me a long time to get to the point where I carried my louis purses everyday becuase I was so scared of what people would say to me, now I don't go anywhere without them. One girl said something to me like I bet it's fake and I just laughed because I didn't care if she thought it was fake. It was great.

Anyway, sorry for writing so much!

Bah, who cares what she says. Like you said, it's just one person. Sounds a bit like she's trying to put you down, and most of the times when that happens, people are just jeolous. Bet it looks great, the way you described it =)

Don't submit to stupid rules...be yourself n not a fool =)

I use WINMX...def not optimal for movies though, just MP3s

Thanks! I think I'm more upset that I let her opinions bother me than I am about her having those opinions? does that make sense? I'm still going to where my MAC eyeshadow and cerry my LV purses but I want to get to the point where others comments about them don't bother me.
