I finally bought a car. I lasted a month without one, which is three weeks longer than I lasted after my last move. It's my very first non-European made vehicle. Week three of teaching is now complete. It feels different this time. I’ve taught before at other schools and it didn’t feel nearly so… intense. I can’t describe it. I've read a lot ot articles, almost every single one I could find, on the life of Pavarotti lately. There is a lot one can say, a lot one can talk about. I'm not going to pretend to be an expert. End of the week
So yes, I am now in New Brunswick, outta the big city and back to working full-time. It feels pretty good. I didn't even tear up when I said goodbye to the flat and the "best in town" beef noodle. I went to see a movie by myself last night at one of the theatres downtown. La Vie en RoseIt was okay, helped me remember my French. But sometimes I regret watching biographies.
