Today was my first last day of school for a while.
I took my normal route to the Med Center, drove by MDA, and remembered my Aunt Laura. She spent so many hours of her life there. Battling. Fighting. Defending. I can't help but feel her spirit when I drive down Holcombe.

Update
I finally found a way to solve my summer school problem. I'm taking a perioperative elective next fall! Not only does this free up my summer for D.C., Asheville, South Carolina, and what ever other trips we plan going on but it also gives me time to work for tuition money and see my family! :] Another plus is that the perioperative class teaches me ( Read more... ) -
Family
I was already having a bad day with being late to school, my May-mester class getting filled up before I could register, and not getting a one-minute warning before my psych test was taken out of my hand without bubbling my answers in.
On top of that, my psych prof picked TODAY to talk about family dynamics. I hate divorce.
