I was just thinking about how bad Highlander 2 was. Where the fuck did they come up with the whole thing of the highlanders being aliens? And Emperor KATANA? Of the planet KATANA? And suddenly The Quickening can basically do just about anything you want?

Also, does the movie Vertigo actually cheer you up? I find that strange. It just creeped me out. I was waiting for Jimmy Stewart to turn into crazy hollow-eyed rapist from halfway through the movie to the end.

highlander 2 is the kind of movie mst3k would have lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvved to get their hands on had they the budget to do such. and imagining that is the only thing even remotely redeeming about H2.

and it's more the fact that vertigo is really familiar for me, and familiar and comfortable things always bring me back inside from whatever ledge i'm teetering on.
and it's a real true love story too...i mean, when is real love ever not disgustingly messy and complicated at some point?...and there's the fact that in general it makes me feel like a less fucked-up person than i normally do
