Is this really the last season? Oh man ;_;

Oh my god, Aithusa is such a traitor dragon, stupid little dragon...

When Arthur fell down, I was like: "Is that a trap? because if it's not I'm judging THE TRAINED KNIGHT pretty hard..." :D

I'm pretty sure whenever Merlin actually wants someone killed, Arthur should listen to him. He wants it rarely enough. Could be an early anniversary present.

As I said in my reaction post, The Alien and Merlin should start a "last of our kind" support group. Dragons are not invited anymore though.

But... Leon belongs to Morgana ;_;

ALF! Oh my god :D

Thanks for bitching about the Mordred-knighting, too, I really didn't get it.
Especially: Arthur saved Mordred's life - he got them bread. Arthur spares Mordred's life - he saves his, too. So no owing from anyone to anyone...

Also: Aithusa is still a traitor dragon, despite the scolding she got from her Mommy!Merlin!

"But... Leon belongs to Morgana"
She had a whole cave full of men, she won't miss one. Plus I think Morgana would eat Leon alive...possibly literally.

"Oh my god, Aithusa is such a traitor dragon, stupid little dragon..."
But look at her eyes! How can you not love her! Frankly living down a well with Morgana couldn't have been a picnic.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy them even though you don't enjoy the show so much anymore. I'll be sure to mention it if the magic is revealed! Although I'm sure if it happens and you listen closely, you'll be able to hear the whole internet mumble "...about bloody time...". Look out for that! :)

Bless you and your funny reviews, this was a much-needed relief for me after reading to many (sadly mostly well-deserved) rants about the episode!

Myself, I enjoyed it a lot, because I've learned to ignore most of what's bothering me about Merlin's and Arthur's character development and how the issue of magic is treated. Like you, I loved the M/A banter - they sounded even more like a married couple than they usually do.

So many hilarious things, from Google The Key to the ever-watchful knights and guards of Camelot ... it's all about how you look at it, isn't it?

Seriously? Mordred? Yet Merlin is still a servant? Is it really because Arthur couldn’t bare not having him around him all day?That's my new headcanon for Arthur's refusal to promote Merlin. :D Who's going to drag him out of bed otherwise? (I'm still curious to see how they are going to solve this potentially awkward issue with Gwen in the same room ... PLEASE tell me they don't sleep in the same bed! PLEASE! Queens always have separate chambers, don't they ( ... )

That was my fear at the beginning of the series. That they'd just have Gwen tagging along with them. Arthur/Gwen scenes are always my least favourite of the show. They don't do anything for either character. I've been pleasantly pleased that there was only that very brief scene at the beginning of ep 1. If I knew Gwen and Arthur being married meant we'd have less of those cringe worthy scenes, I would have lobbied for it years ago!

"Gwen's development makes me a bit apprehensive. She's shown as more of a decisive ruler than Arthur ever was, tbh" I would be fine if they had followed though with the decisiveness from the first episode, but they backed down and had her come up with a half brained plan which didn't really work. It was all a bit wishy-washy. I like the idea of her being more effected by power than ( ... )

LOL this is just hilarious. Can't even get myself frustrated enough to do another rant, so I'll just agree that Merlin/Mordred needs to happen more. In other news, getting realy jealous of your optimism haha. XD

Ha ha! I'm not sure how long my optamisim will last. I probably should vent a little bit more, just incase we hit a really bad episode and I vent all in one go!

I guess the show has always been a little bit of escapism for me, so that always brings a bit of happieness, even in episodes that aren't great. The year it started was a really hard year for my family and the only little bit of time we got to actually sit down and spend together, without stress, was on Saturday nights. We all really, really love the show so it's something that's attached to my family. It brought a bit of a smile when none of us felt like smiling and didn't think we could. So I'll always love the show for that reason, even though I do poke at it and pick at it, it's done because I enjoy it and know how good it can be.

Oh, I understand now. I'm happy your family at least had that during such difficult time. Certainly food for thought. We could do a lot better with remembering the good things the show did bring us. Watching TV with family seems to stop being a tradition here at my place, though I remember getting acquainted with SPN two years ago when I was very near depression. It gave me something to get over that period too. Thanks for the reminder. :)

Yeah, I think it's interesting how we view/experience things like tv shows/music/movies as more than just a brief watching/listening experience. Sometimes they can be a bit of catharsism, sometimes a bit of nostalgia and sometimes they remind us of something else good in our lives. I think half of my favourite songs I ordinarily wouldn't like that much, but because they remind me of people I love, or experiences I've had, I adore them ( ... )

"I worry for Aithusa I mean look how Morgana treated her let snakes.
Can you imagine if the RSPCA ever got in there? I think she's violating about ten different animal crulty laws.

Gwen's hanging idea is just boring.
I know! Show some creativity Gwen! Morgana's got heads on spikes! That's think outside the box.

And it seems the show wants to up its WTF? quota. I fully expect daleks at some point.
I think there's definitely potential for a cross over. Maybe in the backgrounnd of a scene, barely noticable, we could see Leon running away from some Daleks.

And I want him and Melrin ot have telepathic conversations
I know! I was a little disappointed they didn't do their telepathic talking. Especially when they were captured and couldn't talk in front of everyone else. Unless they've lost their connection now. Maybe it's like a dodgy phone signal, they've got to be in the right place.

Camelot's knight and guard recruitment pokicy still ahs serious issues. Do they not even check CVs? Or eyesight?As there had been peace in Camelot ( ... )
