Wow, I had NO idea till now that Nicholas Hughes (son of Sylvia Plath & Ted Hughes) had committed suicide on 3/16/09.  I discovered his obituary while googling Plath/Hughes to come up with a commemorative anniversary title for a Plath exhibition at the Lilly Library--i.e. in the event that I'd like to talk to Joel Silver re. the possibility of ( Read more... )

Just returned fr. 10th St. Market to pay the $10.00 IOU fr. last night's last-min. grocery shopping excursion--i.e. I'd had no idea till payment time at the cash register that I'd forgotten to bring my wallet with me.  Since the cashier/store asst. dude was closing up for the night, he told me I could pay for last night's groceries another time.  ( Read more... )

The subj. line says it all this final day of March 2009:  I just learned that I earned an A for my S583 Case Study 1 assignment.  That's 30% of the final grade for the course!!!!  I am SO psyched that all my academic focus and hard work at SLIS is paying off so well (and esp. in the messy wake of on/off with James).  High 5.  Yay, yay, yaaaaaaay ( Read more... )
