I just wanted to post to let everyone know that Laili bunny passed away from old age over the holiday weekend. She was a little over 10 years old (I got her when she was just a few months in 2000 my senior year at Wooster) and had lived a very full bunny life. As some of you have already heard, Dann and I got engaged last week! I just wanted to share my news so no one would be out of the loop. :)

We are planning a small ceremony in August of 2010 for family and a limited number of friends. There will be a party in Chicago for those who we couldn't have at the wedding.

338 called by CCN for Obama so far, and NC looks to have gone his way putting him at 353 with the potential to still win IN. Wow....that puts him almost at the sweeping victory level of Clinton in 1996 when he won with 379 against Bob Dole. Wow ( Read more... )

I attended a Pro Bono event hosted by a firm last night with an open bar and very appropriately had two small glasses of white wine with hor d'oeuvres. So I expanded my morning run route and got to see a whole new part of my neighborhood, which was awesome. Also, I think I have a relatively good 4 mile route picked out, so now I can up my base mileage to 4 and be happy about where I'm running ( Read more... )

Went for a run this morning - my usual quickie 2 miler in the neighborhood that I reserve for occasions such as today, when I have to be at work at 8am for a strategic planning meeting.
