Photobucket.com has free accounts, which you could share with a group. Dunno if they have amount-of-pictures limits, but I don't think they do. I personally went ahead and bought a paid Flickr account for my own stuff, so I don't have any particularly good advice for this part of the question.

I actually already have a Photobucket account, and I'm pretty happy with it. However, the account maxes out at 500MB of storage (I've scanned in two pictures already, and they're at about 1.15MB, so approximately 1,000 pictures). I suppose I could get a pro account (same deal with Flickr, and I don't think they have an upper limit on paid accounts, unlike Photobucket.

Thanks for the advice, though. I'll keep looking around and see what I can come up with.

Yeah, Flickr's pro accounts are only like $25/year and Flickr has a much nicer interface than Photobucket.

So I've noticed. For now, I'm uploading everything to Flickr, and will most likely upgrade to a paid account when I hit my limit. It's really not that much. I was just hoping to find a free equivalent, so I wouldn't be paying for it for my whole family.
