Boo!

Well, it's been a looooooong time since I've updated. I wonder if anyone has kept me on their friends list? I'm not really sure why I haven't updated...I'm just not on the computer much for one thing, and also really haven't felt anything in the way of creative juices.

The last few days have been fairly eventful, and a little birdyhiddenbear sent me an lj ( Read more... )

My license plates were stolen from my car a few days ago

My wallet was stolen a few weeks ago

Oh my god. If I could make a suggestion, how about getting the hell out of Southie? I know you love the view, but... Jesus. And there are lots of nice places in Cambridge that have bedroom doors.

I don't know who you are or what you're doing on my friendslist, but congratulations on the job -- it sounds exciting and perfect, although you might lose friends if you keep flaunting that 5 weeks of vacation. Also, let me know if you have any more trouble getting cash. I'm heading to the bank today to make an old-fashioned in-person withdrawal (and now that I think of it, you should be able to do the same even if your ATM card doesn't work, if your bank is local), leaving me with my ATM withdrawal limit intact. I'd be happy to grab extra cash for you. :)

Well, my wallet was stolen at Healthworks...you know, that ritzy healthclub 3 blocks from your house? ;-) You're right about the car stuff, it's getting ridiculous. I think it's partially because of the new rich people moving in and giving targets for hoodlums...although why my car is a target I don't know, it's a piece of crap. We are probably going to move in may. Actually, the real estate bug has bitten J, so who knows what'll happen. There are some nice places for sale in east cambridge for reasonable prices.

My bank isn't local, which was unfortunate. I'm all set now, since my card FINALLY worked yesterday. However, if you'd just like to give me $$ randomly, I won't say no...

Ummmmm. Wellllll. Dohhhhhhhhh. - Can I take that LJ Poke back? ;-)

Congrats on the job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You'll learn all that open source stuff in a snap. Unlike Micro$oft, they don't make their things needlessly difficult to use. And the work sounds awesome.

As for the rest - Holy Crap! What a week. We'll pamper you as much as possible in Belize.

(I'm not all that good at the whole cause-effect process, but it would be remiss of me to not point out that you stopped posting to LJ, and then all this crazy health stuff happened.)

Effectively pampered in Belize! :)

I will be prophylactically posting to LJ to ensure that my health improves. :)

I don't recall raping any nuns, but what the hell, maybe I'm an amnesiatic, sleep-walking serial killer on top of it all.

I hate to laugh (and laugh and laugh) at your misfortune, but you just wrote it all so well....

And I don't think woogies know to how to get to Belize (I hear it's paradise after all), so rest assured that, after a week like this, your trip will be perfect.

The trip was indeed perfect. :) YAY! We had a great time, and I'll tell you all about it as soon as we get together (as well as show you the *cough* dress). We should make it soon so you can revel in or revile my tan.

Damn. You couldn't have had a worse day if it were scripted to be so. That SUCKS. I hope you are feeling better, enjoying Belize, and that your problems are easily solvable when you return. I've missed reading your posts!

Congrats on the job! Goodness, I will try to send all the good vibes I can up your way!! Hope things get better.

Good luck with PHP. I have been coding PHP/MySQL for the last year+. It's great. May I suggest you try Dreamweaver as well for your dev env.
