Minor triumph today. A super fun game that medical types like to play is quiz the juniors until they get something wrong. It's called pimping and it works like so: whenever you ask a question of a group that has mixed levels of seniority, the juniors are supposed to try to answer. That's pretty much what I figured. I do personally answer the ones I've met and that I feel have treated me well. For some reason I really don't like the Robert Half people, and of course the ones who misrepresented the job with the massive turnover a couple of years ago.

I get a lot of recruiting calls and I'm tired of calling the people back, especially places like Robert Half that are staffed by pushy/brusque people. What do y'all consider the protocol - just ignoring the msg if you're not interested, or is that impolite?

My Wednesday soccer team captain asked me to play for his Monday team. It's nice to be wanted, but I'm not sure I want to start being wanted at 11pm on the last day of a holiday weekend.

Last night was my second official game on my new indoor soccer team. Apparently the break-in period is over; we had no female subs so I had to play the whole game.
