while using the bathroom each day multiple times... i was starting to notice more and more the peeling wallpaper. very irratated i spoke to my gma about it... surprisingly she didn't say much so i went to the garage, got the puty knife, sponge and a bucket of water and began the task of removing the horrid 80s wallpaper. needless to say, the ( Read more... )

try going to u-save lumber on orange blossom trail for the cabinets. the quality is about the same as home depot, but the price is dramatically lower. also, you could try george's cabinets (6962 edgewater drive) for that counter top to see if you can get one for a lower price. lastly, if you get a faucet and install it, and it just doesn't work right, take it back and get a new one. my dad has noticed that sometimes people buy faucets, take out all the internal workings, and return the faucet. the faucet then ends up on the shelf again, and people buy it and can't figure out why it won't work.

i've done too many bathrooms to count...

thank you for the info! i found some decent cabinets online at home depot but i think everything is made from particle board these days. but i shall definitely check them out.

the cabinets at larry's u-save lumber are wood (last i checked). we used some to build a desk for jimmy last summer. my father and larry and good friends; that's why i've been there so often. larry is actually the guy who gave latin club all that lumber back in the good ol' days.
