i took a trip to Trader Joe’s today during my lunch break in search of some goodies that were gluten-free, since I’m trying it out (or trying to try it out, yeesh). I was horribly disappointed in my local Trader Joe’s selection. It sucks that the only one in Vancouver has like 3 aisles, but you go to Portland and its an ACTUAL GROCERY STORE. argh. So, based on some book recommendations and the obvious need for some change, I’ve started picking up nutrition-type books. mostly in regards to balancing brain chemistry back out and eating healthy, as well as some regarding food allergies (i think i may be allergic to wheat and already KNOW i’m allergic to dairy. blah). i sewed some curtains for the windows on either side of the door tonight. i forgot to take before and after pictures. i will do so tomorrow. we went on a mad hunt for some new bookcases too and came back with nothing. i’ll have to go to Ikea with my new gift certificate and see if i can come across anything there. i am thinking one of the tall ( Read more... )

Normally I’m not a huge stickler about proper English unless I’m at work. Anybody that has read my emails/blogs know this does not transfer to my personal life. ha. I’m more horrendously tired than I thought humanly posssible; however, the painting (of the upstairs at least) is almost finished. We have one more coat to put on the accent wall tonight after work and then we’re done done done. Thank God. Painting is for sucks.
