Day #7 at sea - inside passage

The day started foggy, we weren't able to see anything beyond the ship and every few minutes the boat would blow its horn. Loudly. It was a deep and long (woo!) sound and it was cool to hear it echo around. Then after awhile it burned off and we had some spectacular scenery and we spotted more wales, orcas this time (killer whales).

I find cruising interesting too. I think I prefer non-cruising vacations but there's something to be said for cruising, too. I'm glad you had a good time! I would like to sometime take the "cheap" ferry from Maine to Nova Scotia, too - just would be fun for a weekend or so, even with the kids.

Hope the re-adjustment period ends quickly.
