What do you think of when you think of September for kids? (besides school!) Trying to come up with ideas for the MOMS Club calendar. Weather here is typically still warmish and mostly dry - increasingly wet towards October/end of October depending on year.
Kids are mostly 3-5ish.

Apple picking
berry picking
nature walk

.... and Im drawing a

Football!!!!!
Bonfires (ok, that would have to be a supervised evening activity, but you could make smores)

Mommies here aren't into football, (at least my mommy friends), but bonfires sound fun! I put a family night at our house on the calendar, we have a big firering in the backyard. Thanks!

Do you have a farm near by that has a petting zoo?

The calendar was finalized this weekend and I got that one on the calendar! We have one that is about 1 hour away, I've never been to it so I thought I'd go check it out. Thanks!

Corn mazes? or do those start in October? But...are you looking for something to do, rather than someplace to go? Maybe that's no help, then.

There is one up here that starts in August and runs till November, but thats going to be one of the places we will frequent a lot next month. (Pheasant Farms in Silverdale, neat place, but I like Marris Farms better - thats too far for ppl here to want to drive to, but my family lives by Marris Farms and I went to school with the Marris's, so we usually go there)

Thank you!
