I didn't realize I hadn't posted a birthday recap! :O sorry!!
Pete and Nate had seperate birthday parties this year. They wanted different things and I felt that since they are always forced to comprimise, they deserved to have what they wanted for their birthday party. It was a LOT of work. tablescapes for "spring tea"
My MOPS group is having a "spring tea" (tea optional!), and I usually host a table. I usually bring a ugly off white tablecloth with my cheap-looking white and silver china and then load the table with bunches of fresh light purple, dark purple and white lilacs from my yard. It looks okay, but not great.

Im off to Dallas in a few minutes! I will have my laptop, but won't have a lot of time. DH is taking care of weighing and mailing TTP stuff while Im gone. :) -
september kids events?
What do you think of when you think of September for kids? (besides school!) Trying to come up with ideas for the MOMS Club calendar. Weather here is typically still warmish and mostly dry - increasingly wet towards October/end of October depending on year.
Kids are mostly 3-5ish.

Day #7 at sea - inside passage
The day started foggy, we weren't able to see anything beyond the ship and every few minutes the boat would blow its horn. Loudly. It was a deep and long (woo!) sound and it was cool to hear it echo around. Then after awhile it burned off and we had some spectacular scenery and we spotted more wales, orcas this time (killer whales).

Day #6 - Prince Rupert port-of-call
Our next stop was Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada.
PR was nice, it was not a touristy town like the other towns, which were cluttered with jewelry and fur stores and other places that the cruise line told us to shop. Day #5 Endicott Arm glacier, at sea, 2nd formal night
We woke up early as we cruised into Endicott Arm Fjord for an up-close view of Dawes Glacier. Travis and I got seperated on the top deck, he was off getting pictures and I sort of got lost in the crowd.
