Arrived~!

Well~! It was definitely a long trip getting all the way here, but I'm finally in the capital and getting settled into my new home of sorts! Though, really, I didn't realize until taking this trip just how far it was and how long it took to get from where my home is over on the Eastern shores to over here in the West. But it's a really long trip~! ( Read more... )

Ara, so you're the new boy studying under Sir Kaji that everyone's been buzzing about. How cute, your enthusiasm shows in your writing, hehe~

...I-I don't really think there's much to buzz about with me. And I'm always this enthusiastic. I just like to be positive about things.

Oh but there is~ It'll die down soon enough I'm sure, something to get used to living here. Being positive is a good trait to have, don't go losing it.

More of an acquaintance. I didn't realize Kazena planned on hosting someone. You're very fortunate.

Yes, I feel very fortunate for his kindness~! Our families are good friends and I plan to join the royal guard here as well, so his mother asked him to house me while I'm in training~! I'm thankful he agreed to, as I've missed being around him and it had been a good while since I had gotten to see him. But I'm more than sure I'll end up enjoying myself staying here, and I'm already looking forward to learning a lot from him and training with him~!

But girls are really easy to talk to, unless they're the screechy awful sort. Boys are more difficult, I think.

I grew up with two older brothers and have had a bunch of friends who were all boys since I was a little kid, so talking to guys is no problem for me. Besides, I am a guy myself, so why would it be difficult to talk to other guys? Girls are different, though. And they have different, um...builds to them. Plus the only women I've ever really gotten to know so far were all motherly types or were really really young. But they're not the same as...p-pretty girls my age.

Well i don't know. I'm a boy, and I find girls are easier to get on with, if you have to. Boys tend to hit you more and they just want to run everywhere and if you like something they don't like, that usually means they don't want to be your friend. And girls are easier to buy things for too.

Then again, some girls are just HORRIBLE.

Not all other guys are like that. I'm not and I've not really met very many who are that way. I mean, yeah, I know some that like to roughhouse and will punch their friends in the arm, but they don't mean any harm by it. It's just their way of having fun and showing their kind of friendship, and they've never wanted to not be friends with me just because we like different things. So maybe you've just had bad luck with others in the past.

It's always interesting to see Kazena take notice of someone, I assure you.

Not sure it's quite like you think as Kazena-sama doesn't treat me any differently from the other cadets. I just happen to be a family friend and live with him is all and I'm fine with him doing things that way. But I take it you know Kazena-sama? Are you a friend of his?
