I went over to Bob's yesterday to help him get his new mouse going. Spent some time looking at his beautiful new nude watercolors. He's into putting them in weird positions with hula hoops and 50's style high heels in bright colors. Very funny. Another cold winter day. Didn't even go out. Watched some movies. Monsoon Wedding which was OK and Spielberg's Empire of the Sun which started out OK and then started sucking about halfway. Playing fiddle was so much fun last night. Completely different than the tedium of the night before. I think it's better when I only play one sitting a day.

I was trying to play my fiddle and it sounded aweful and the same old out of tune tunes and the same old mistakes and problems. So I watched some real crap on TV: the Bachlerette, Raymond, Fear Factor, American Idol among unremembered others. Spent average 2 minutes between channel changes.
