Pairing: Haehyuk

Genre: fluff (I hope)

Disclaimer: It is my regret and sorrow that I cannot own these funny, cute, HOT, and awesome boys.

Summary: Hyukjae is forced to find a new method to get into his college after being rejected. With the help of his friend, Sungmin (and an evil genius), he finally gets in - in a creative way.

I watched as Sungmin, aka Minnie, heaved over a heavy chest and dusted it off. “I’m beginning to regret this already.”

“But we just started! We haven’t even got to the good part!” Minnie frowned at me and shook his head. “You got scared just because I brought over a box?”

“No. I’m just scared about what’s in it,” I muttered. Minnie appeared to not have heard.

“Hyung? What if it fails? What if everything doesn’t go exactly as planned?” I asked, worried. When I got a rejection letter from my college, I felt as if the sky had fallen. It had been my dream, to go to that college and learned everything I could about dancing. But Minnie didn’t give up.

Minnie smirked, but I didn’t see. I was depressed, keeping my head in my lap.

“Hyuk.” I looked up, expecting a hug from my best friend. What he gave me was a smirk. An evil smirk.

“So . . . we are gonna get you into that college no matter what.”

“How are we going to do that? I’ve been rejected.” Minnie smirked again. I’m thinking this guy’s been hanging around Kyu for too long.

“How do you think we will?” I didn’t answer, so Minnie continued.

“They said you couldn’t get a room in the boys’ dorm, Hyuk, not because they don’t like you. As far as I know, you have the best dancing skills anyone could have. They just don’t have room and can’t accept you…” said Minnie, emphasizing the word room as to hint something. I didn’t get it, so I stayed silent.

“Look, Hyuk. They said there’s no other room in the boys dorm, so they won’t let you live on campus. But think. If there’s no other room on campus, wouldn’t there be other available spaces?” I let that sink in.

“I…can sleep in…an empty classroom? Or hide in your room?” I asked, not sure where this is going. Minnie stared at me like that was what I really thought.

“Really? Don’t you think…there might be other rooms for you to sleep in, besides the boys’ dorm? Like…the girls’?” Minnie gave a sly smile. I frowned.

“You mean…”

“Yeah. I totally mean that.”  I stared at Minnie in horror.

“Sleep…with the…the…”

“Uh huh.” A certain evil genius wouldn’t be able to compete with the smirk Minnie has on now.

“Sleep…with…a girl?!”

“Yeah.”

“Girl?!”

“Yup.”

“NO.”

“Don’t worry, we’ll make sure you look like one, too. Don’t want to cause a big disruption on your first day of school.” Minnie was enjoying every single face I was making.

“Look like…a girl?!”

Minnie finally cracked opened the huge chest and gave a triumphant smile. I peeked in to see what was in it that was so important for my…transformation.

Dresses. High heels.

There were boxes of makeup, I could tell, judging from the outside decorations. Jewelry of all sorts flashed in my eyes, from glittering beads of necklaces to dangling earrings that sparkled in the light.

I felt as if my life was doomed forever.

Minnie cheerfully chirped, “Well, this is something I stole from my cousin. Let’s get started!” He looked at my face and quickly added, “Of course, this isn’t going to be your real wardrobe. Just something to test with so I can get a feeling about how your face is going to look and everything.”

I sighed. “Bring it on.”

We heard a knock on the door and ran down the stairs. I opened the door, revealing Kyu, a wonderful dongsaeng and such a great genius I am glad to have known all my years of high school.

If you hadn’t noticed, my words were dripping with sarcasm.

Kyu smiled warmly at Minnie and gave a gentle kiss on Minnie’s forehead. Then he turned towards me and frowned. “Minnie, you said you wouldn’t cheat on me, remember?”

“Of course I do, silly.”

“Then what are you doing with a girl in your house, alone?” I turned red. How dare he?!

I glared lasers at him. “For your information, Kyu, I am your -”

“I was just teasing you, hyung,” Kyu said. He smirked. “Or should I call you ‘noona’?”

“Yah, you brat!!” I lunged for the guy. Minnie had to push me down, otherwise I would’ve killed him.

“So…how’s it going? Your makeover as a lady?” Kyu grinned, pissing me off. I really wish glares could kill.

“Well, since it was ‘your plan’ and you are a ‘genius’, shouldn’t it be all going well?” I said. Kyu studied me from top to bottom. “Well, I guess it should be foolproof since I am the one who created this plan, but judging from the way you look -”

“Don’t say it -”

“It doesn’t seem like even the dumbest idiot in the universe could mistake you as a girl.”

“YAH! IDIOTS ARE ALREADY DUMB!”

The doorbell rang, and we looked at the door. Kyu walked over and answered it. A mailman stood there. He gave us a warm smile. “Hello, I have some mail here and also a package for a…Mr. Cho Kyuhyun? Could one of you please sign this?” He looked at each of us. “And I also have a letter for a…Ms. Lee Eunhyuk?” Eunhyuk. That was my new name. The one I had written on my new application. I eagerly reached forward to take it.

Kyu suddenly grabbed me, blocking me from my precious letter. He took my mail from the mailman and gave them to Minnie, who looked confused. Kyu wrapped his arms around my waist and laid his chin on my shoulder. I started to protest, but my mouth was covered. “This person is Lee Eunhyuk, who’s my girlfriend. Isn’t she beautiful?” Kyu asked the mailman and gazed at me lovingly. I almost gagged and Minnie began coughing like crazy. The mailman happily smiled at us.

“Of course. She is certainly very pretty. You guys make a really great couple.”

I frowned in disbelief, gaping at the mailman.

Kyu’s eyes wanted to pop out any second.

Minnie looked like he was ready to begin a barbeque and grill us.

The mailman looked uncomfortable. “Um, excuse me, could you, uh, sign this for me?”

Like an automatic machine, Kyu took the pen from the other and scribbled his signature on a piece of paper. The mailman forced the package into my arms. He bowed and began to walk off, muttering something like, “Was it something I said?”

Minnie slammed the door and pushed us apart. “YAH! WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!”

“Min…”

“DID YOU KNOW HOW HURT I WAS?! GRABBING HYUK LIKE THAT AND PRETENDING HE WAS YOUR GIRLFRIEND! I WAS SHOCKED!”

“Uh…”

“ACTING LIKE I WASN’T THERE!”

“Minnie, I…”

“I WAS LIKE SUFFOCATING BACK THERE! DON’T YOU CARE ABOUT ME?!”

“Calm down, Minnie…”

“YAH! LEE HYUKJAE! DON’T INTERFERE IN THIS! ARRGG, I WANTED TO DIE THAT MOMENT!”

“I’m sorry, Minnie…”

“DO YOU KNOW THAT I WANT TO KILL YOU RIGHT NOW?!”

Kyu sighed and hugged his boyfriend tightly. “I’m sorry, Minnie, really sorry. I apologize. Do you forgive me now?” Minnie sighed, too. “Aish, fine. You’re too cute when saying sorry.” Kyu grinned. “You can punish me all you want. I’ll let you take over tonight.” He winked at Minnie.

“Really?”

“Yup. Aigoo, my boyfriend is soooooo cute.” Kyu ruffled Minnie’s hair. They looked at us. I was pretending not to have noticed them.

“Don’t look at me, continue your making-up-after-the-fight. You still haven’t made out yet, isn’t that usually part of your process?”

“Yah, Lee Hyukjae…”

“I am also a victim in this, so blame everything on the brat, ok?”

“You can’t blame me, look at the mailman. He thinks you’re a girl,” Kyu smirked.

“So?” I rolled my eyes.

“So the first part of my plan is complete. To turn you into a girl. I pretended you were my girlfriend to see the guy’s reaction, just for fun, but -”

“Oh. You played with me?! Like a doll, huh?!”

“-it seemed like that guy is just very gullible or he’s plain stupid.”

“How many parts are there to your plan?” Minnie asked.

“Uh, three?”

“YES! So we made it through the first part, right?”

“I…guess so.”

“Then what’s the second part?” I asked.

“To enroll you in the college. And here it is…” Kyu handed me my letter. I tore it open and scanned it over silently.

“YAH! That’s not how you read it!” Minnie pouted. “Here, give it to me.” I gave it to him, and he read it out loud.

“Dear Ms. Lee Eunhyuk, we are delighted to inform you that you have gotten in blah, blah, blah, school starts on September 1st, blah, blah, blah, good luck blah, blah, blah, we hope you enjoy your college years at SM University. Well, Hyuk, congratulations!” Minnie beamed at me. “You got in!”

“And the second part of our plan is complete,” Kyu smiled triumphantly. He glanced at me. “But I still think you can look better.”

“Kyu!” Minnie pouted.

“Don’t worry, honey, your skills are amazing. I just think my poor hyung won’t get a boyfriend if he looks like this.” Oh, I wanted to fry that guy.

Sungmin thought for a moment. He snapped his fingers. “I know! We could get Heechul hyung to help us!”

“Hyung?”

Kyu thought for a moment. He looked at me as if to imagine what I would look like after Heechul hyung’s transformation. “Well, we could do it.” Kyu smirked. “Right?”

“Right.” I smirked back, but inside I was freaking out.

What was Heechul hyung going to do?!

Do you like it so far? Then please continue reading the next part:
