This has just not been my week, I would have ranted about it earlier, but I currently lack internet access at home to do so, I've been without it since Wednesday. Thank god for school computers and proxy servers so I don't go into extreme withdrawals ( Read more... )

Just to let you know, Bellsouth isn't exactly the Holy Grail of internet services either.

And we told you that car sounded strange.

i guess comcast doesnt like cubans. us 'jews' have no problems with comcast. in fact, comcast works so well, that it almost makes me forget bellshit. wait, no it doesnt, BELLSOUTH SUCKS. if youre looking for a company with horrible tech support and more downtime than uptime, go right ahead and switch, in fact i will encourage you to switch if thats what you want. shit, ill make a bellsouth switch make parody if thats what you want, but shit man, go for it.

Comcast is so random. It works well for me 98% of the time, but for example just a few hours ago when I was at Kris's his dad was bitching because not only was Comcast down for them again (more off than on), Comcast wouldn't send anybody out to look at the problem. They said to talk to the hardware manufacturer and of course they're no help. It's the same case with a lot of other people. It really doesn't make sense to me that it works for some and not others.

Being without a car annoys the shit out of me. It amuses me that it took you so long to realize the beauty of this independence (putting off getting your license out of laziness) and now a short while without it and its a big deal. Ask for your own car for your birthday or something.

Oh. Don't even get me started on Comcast. *resists temptation to waste time with comcast stories*

We had no other options for broadband at our apartment, but once we got the house we got DCA.net. It's a very nice company for DSL to us and allows us to run servers. And all we have for TV is some rabbit ears - we usually get the networks, a few PBS channels, and with how much I watch TV that's enough for me.
