Colby: What are all these plants doing here arranged at the front door?

So our big tank used to have just guppies. Probably about a hundred in there... couldn't count them. Anyways, nowadays we have 11 rasboras, 2 gouramis (Gill and Bill), 7 guppies, 4 ghost shrimp, 10 neon tetras and about 3 thousand teeny tiny snails that have infested the rocks.
