Thanks. And the test IS evil. It adapts to my suckage. They say that the first ten questions in either category basically determine your score.

Heh. My score on that stupid test was like yours... I expected better on verbal too.

I guess I'm a bit surpised how high your quant score was. It was within 100 points of mine (I don't remember if I had a 740 or a 780...or a 730?), and I've got a math minor on top of what's essentially a math degree. Oh well, good job! If your transcript makes up for it, you should be fine, no?

oh, and BTW, your comment earlier: "The GRE's going to tell me if I'm master's degree material or not." ... no it doesn't. It's a silly test. It said I was. I went, and I wasn't. Not even close. I'm doomed to be a well-paid drone for the rest of my days.

You have to be a certain kind of demented or determined for grad school. And I think you're just demented enough!

PS: of COURSE I'm demented enough! The undergrads are just the baby school, while I am the big league chew!
