Yesterday started out warm and rainy and turned clear, windy, and cold. Today is sunny and cold so I have donned my purple-and-orange long underwear. Probably won't take them off til spring at this point

you are so allowed to miss Japan. come on - you were there for a good long while - you made a life for yourself there and grew accustomed to things there

I guess I just feel like if I start letting myself miss it it will get overwhelming. I think you can probably relate to being in a new town and missing your old town and haunts and all that. It will be easier once I get more comfortable in Louisville.
I will send you and G an email with my new address when I get back on Sunday.
hey you, I just noticed that you had suddenly started writing again. Hooray. I love to see what you are up to. And your project with the letters and stuff on your mom's side of the family is intriguing.... And it also made me realize that I never got back to you about all of those kinds of things on your DADS side of the family (like you don't have enough to do already....) Anyway, the reason I never responded was because my mom got really sentimental and decided that she wanted to go through all the stuff before doing anything with it (this she decides when it is all in MY house, and not in her house....) ahem. ANYWAY -- I would love to keep up with you. I still have my blog going, if you want to see what we are up to. And I need your address, please. I have a christmas card for you, and no idea where to send it! e-mail me. -- Natalie
